Processing priorities for Skilled Visas

 Of the 190,000 places in the 2012/2013 migration program, 129,250 places have been reserved for the Skilled Migration Program, including Skilled Independent, Employer Sponsored, State/Territory Nominated, and Skilled Australian Sponsored (Family Sponsored) applicants.

The processing priorities of Skilled Visas is as follows:
1. Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme, Visa subclass 187
2. Employer Nomination Scheme, Visa subclass 186
3. State/Territory nominated visas, Visa subclass 190 and 489
4. Skilled Independent, Visa aubclassss 189
